Today there are many ways to find a person, with modern technology all the time making the world smaller and smaller it is easier than ever to find people and their information. You can find a persons address, where they work, their age, dates of birth and just about anything else if you get the skills needed to do it.

It does not take long just to get a few basic skills that anyone can learn to find a person or their information. Most of the searches one does today all start out the same way. Many times the library with have many different copies of the telephone book. Basically now days each company has their own phone book. AT&T will have their own book, Sprint will have a book and SBC will have a book. There probably be more that this but that is all I can think of at the moment. So the library should have copies of all these.

The library will also have old phone books from previous years which can prove to be very valuable. Because a person or their information may not be in one phone book but may be in older phone books that is why it is such a good idea to check.
